Christmas dinner.

Apparently i atteneded my first Christmas dinner, okay first dinner that was held indoors at a good
friend's place. apart from the usual christmas dinner cum gift exchange. i really prefer home celebration, makes it more enjoyable and memorable.

i'd like to thank my good friend frankie, and also stephan for making this gathering a success. for organizing this chirstmas dinner at their newly bought apartment, for the nice foods they cooked and for cleaning up the little mess in between the party and thereafter. i did asked if i could helped out with anything but they declined. really had a blast nonetheless with my good friends. loves!

Really creative christmas tree done by frankie specially just for the gathering. such a thoughtful thing
to do. he even went to daiso to get the stuffs a day before the dinner. awww!
Foods cooked both by Frankie and Stephan, good cooks!

Gift exchange! presents from each individual.

Choosing our preferred gifts, who's the lucky one?

Nata came over despite having work on that day. he specially changed his afternoon shift to
morning so that he could attend the gathering after work! thank you bff for making the surprise visit
and to scared me to death when i was coming out of the washroom.
Nicky and Suzzy.

Girls doing what they do best!

Us taking photo in the midst of eating, cause i asked. heh.

Coincidentally wearing patterned tees! boys of sixxy.

Group shot with the rest of Frankie's friends.

With Alan, who is apparently a dog whisperer, hahaha.

Land of smiles, bangkok.

Created a new blog, a new beginning. it was really a long time since i last decided to log into blogger and type out a post. it's quite tedious, i don't understand how others can do it so often. i'll try to get the blogging vibe back, as soon as possible! just spare me some time. haha.

so anyways cut to the chase, i'm gonna blog about my 5days, 4 night trip to awesome, bangkok. the last time. i was there was like 2 -3 years back, and that was my very first time stepping onto the land of smiles. why land of smiles? apparently Thailand is called the land of smiles because of the deep culture to the beautiful cuisine. Thailand is a unique country no other countries are like this, that's in my opinion. thais will greet to show respect as they put their two hands together just under their chin and bow they welcome you with an open arm, together with a wide smile. they're the happy people who're
apparently happy go lucky. ah i just love it there, to the structures of it's individual buildings to the people. and of course the shopping! everyone just loves the shopping there. we cant stop, we wont stop. i want to visit Bangkok as often as i can in future. grins.

i was really happy to be back in bangkok, really! i was screaming deep down.

Heading to hotel!

Pathuwan princess's hotel room!

Nicely folded towel, creative!

View from room.
The busy street blending with bangkok's building. loves!

On the tuktuk! they drive like it's F1, literally!

Random photo of nice watches in Patphong. i bought a watch here! we headed to patphong  in the evening for more shopping on the second night. apparently it rained two days while we were in patphong. how unlucky, but thank god it lasted only for a short while.

Nick getting those common singlets that everyone has.

One of the many things i love about bangkok is of course, the scenery and those dangling electric cables that makes bangkok photography worthy. artistic angles can be found easily. definitely good for photographers that loves wide angle or scenery shots.

Done with shopping, heading back on a tuktuk.

Had ice cream in MBK, before heading up to hotel room. definitely a need after a
long day of walking under the scorching sun. pretty affordable too!

Nick and myself decided to the OOTD shots with bangkok's busy street as our background.

I'm wearing a tee which i bought on the first day, talk about efficiency, bahaha.

Explored our hotel on day two cause we had time to kill and were heading back to hotel to rest after
shopping and walking around. the gym is massively big and spacious! so is the swimming pool. but sadly we didn't use any during our stay cause we woke up late. lol.

Selfies in the hotel with the help of natural sunlight, heh.

Night shopping starts!

Day 2's loot!

We ordered room service cause it was rather late, and the supermarket in MBK has already closed.
not wanting to have instant noodles which we had for day 1's supper. thus the decision to have room service. large portion of foods with sides. super delicious.

Curly fries.

Fish and chips.

Tom yam soup.

Seafood fried rice.

Headed to Chaktuchak on the third day which was on a Saturday. we went at about 2pm
and there was already loads of people heading to chaktucak. it was rather hot, squeezing and such.
in my opinion, there are nothing much to get from there although i know it's really big.
or perhaps it's just preferences difference. or i didn't visit enough cause we left after an hour plus.
Taken with a birdy that belongs to the shop owner that i bought my brown skull bag from.
it was actually on the basket hopping around when i tried snapping a pic of it.
and friendly owner placed the little birdy on my palm. really cute!

Really yummy garlic bread!

Posing with the shopping bags from chaktucak market.

Day 3's loots from Chaktucak.

Waiting for nick to be back with Macdonald for dinner, heh.

So apparently nick wanted to get a pair of shoes from terminal 21 from a particular shop that has the same
boss who had a shop in chaktucak. shoe size was out of stock so he recommend us to get it from his main shop.

lunch at Zeed, authetic thai foods.

train back to MBK from terminal 21.

a protest that happened, people in red.

Sweet treats, ice cream at cold stone.

Bigass ice cream!

Happy me in tuktuk!
Day 3's impromptu shopping. went for dinner empty handed but came back with these!

Decided to snap photo of ourselves before catching our flight! last day, sob sob.

Unique phone booth. hello call me maybe?

Siam paragon to idle time!

Two hour before flight, nothing to do i fell asleep.

Phone selfies! bahaha.

Thank you bangkok for treating us well! #Ilovebangkok
